Cal State San Bernardino’s Center for Cyber and AI will host its free annual Wired In event on Friday, Oct. 23, from 7-9 p.m. at the Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration on the San Bernardino campus. Open to the public, the event welcomes K-12, community college, and CSUSB students, as well as families and community partners for an evening of interactive demonstrations, cybersecurity challenges and opportunities to explore emerging technologies.
The evening will begin with an open house from 7-8 p.m., followed by a presentation from the Center for Cyber and AI from 8-9 p.m. Admission is free, and attendees can register online.
Attendees will have the opportunity to see live demonstrations of student projects, participate in cybersecurity challenges and interact with humanoid robots and robotic dogs. Representatives from campus clubs, academic programs, university departments and external employers will also be available to share information and answer questions.
The event will highlight scholarship and apprenticeship opportunities available through the Center for Cyber and AI. Center directors and staff will be on hand to discuss programs, resources and pathways for students interested in pursuing careers in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.
A highlight of the evening will be a special AI announcement from Vincent Nestler, CSUSB professor and director of the Center for Cyber and AI.
Whether attendees are curious about AI, considering a career in cybersecurity or simply interested in seeing emerging technologies in action, Wired In offers an opportunity to discover how these fields are shaping the future.
