Alumnus Sedrick Spencer '91, '96, vice president of government relations at Paramount Global, does not define himself by his title. He sees his position of power as an opportunity to be a voice for people of color.

Spencer understands the importance of earning a college degree, and he acknowledges the significance of being one of the 40 percent of men to graduate from a university. As a student, Spencer strived to take advantage of all CSUSB had to offer.

Cal State San Bernardino opened doors for Spencer and provided him with countless opportunities. He wants to pay it forward to other students. He not only advocates for CSUSB specifically but also for students to attend and graduate from the California State University system.

Spencer recognizes what he has been able to accomplish in his career because of the education he received at CSUSB. Cal State San Bernardino was Spencer’s college of choice, and he is proud to be a #Coyote4Life.
