The Office of Faculty Affairs and Development at Cal State San Bernardino will host a Virtual Faculty Recruitment Fair on Tuesday, Oct. 25, from 9 a.m. to noon Pacific Time in an effort to build a pipeline of top-tier talent and to give participants an opportunity to learn more about the university.

Participants will hear from university leaders, college deans and a faculty panel. They will learn about the benefits of joining the CSUSB campus community as a faculty member and about the excellence reflected in the university’s diversity and student success. Information will be shared about CSUSB’s open tenure track positions in a variety of disciplines to begin in fall 2023. Qualified participants will have a unique opportunity to meet one-on-one with department chairs with open positions from 1-4 p.m. Pacific Time.

Registration is online at the Faculty Affairs and Development Virtual Faculty Recruitment Fair webpage.

The goal of the Office of Faculty Affairs and Development is to recruit, hire and retain the most diverse, highly qualified faculty and emphasize its commitment to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion in our hiring practices across multiple dimensions. Hiring diverse faculty ensures that diversity exists in front of the classroom with students learning from a variety of viewpoints and perspectives making CSUSB a unique, vibrant learning community.

This virtual fair will improve the efficiency of the Office of Faculty Affairs and Development’s recruitment efforts. The office believes the biggest benefit of a virtual career fair is that it will eliminate the obstacle of geography. Candidates can join the virtual career fair from anywhere with the click of a button, making it easier for university officials to connect with ideal talent outside the Inland Empire. The convenience of a virtual career fair – especially when held over the course of a few hours – makes it easy for job seekers to participate.
