CSUSB’s Davis awarded for cancer research

Claudia Davis, an associate professor of nursing at Cal State San Bernardino, has been recognized for her research by the American Association for Cancer Research.

Earlier this month, Davis received the association’s 2020 Minority and Minority Serving Institution Faculty Scholar in Cancer Research.

Extremist group ‘Boogaloo Bois’ is an organized network, CSUSB professor says

The killing of a federal officer in Oakland, the shooting of a police station in Minneapolis, and a plot to supply Hamas with weapons weren’t isolated cases, according to a federal indictment, the news website reported.

“This now tells us the Boogaloo Bois are more than just a bunch of unconnected extremists,” said Brian Levin, director for the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism at California State University, San Bernardino. “[It’s] a network for extremists who communicate in real time around terror plots and attacks.”

Cal State San Bernardino professor to appear on 'Wheel of Fortune'

Sara Callori, of Redlands, will be a contestant on "Wheel of Fortune" Wednesday, Oct. 28.

The television show airs 7:30 p.m. on KABC (ABC 7).

Callori, an associate professor of physics at Cal State San Bernardino, grew up watching "Wheel of Fortune" with her grandmother and has continued watching the game show.
