The Veterans Success Center at Cal State San Bernardino will host an open house on Thursday, June 29, to celebrate the upcoming Fourth of July holiday.
Tours of the center and introductions to its services — along with an American-style barbecue — will be the highlights of the open house, which will run from 11:30 a.m-1:30 p.m.
The Veterans Success Center is located at the lower level of the Coyote Bookstore.
Since it opened May 25, 2012, the center has built a strong reputation throughout the Inland Empire for offering innovative leadership opportunities and education programs.
CSUSB was ranked No. 18 among four-year colleges by Military Times, 'Best for Vets: Colleges 2017' and as the top public university in the state for services it offers to military personnel and veterans, according to Military Advanced Education's 2017 Guide.
The university was also named by G.I. Jobs magazine as a Military Friendly School, placing CSUSB in the top 20 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools in the nation working with veterans.
