The Cal State San Bernardino Korean Culture Club will host the fifth annual Korean Festival on Friday, May 3, at the Santos Manuel Student Union, featuring a traditional wedding ceremony, dinner reception and performance showcase. Admission is required for the dinner reception and performance showcase. The wedding ceremony is free. Tickets are available at the SMSU Box Office (SMSU-108) and are $5 (cash only). The traditional Korean wedding ceremony, Holyesik, will be from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the SMSU Events Center. Following the ceremony, from 5 to 6 p.m. in the SMSU Events Center, guests will be able to try various Korean dishes prepared by 10 Korean chefs. The performance showcase will take place 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the SMSU Theater and will feature performers in both modern and traditional Korean themes. Sponsors of the event include the Korean Cultural Center, Los Angeles; Asian Faculty, Staff and Student Association; Cross Cultural Center; University Diversity Committee; Korean Food Global Association; and the Department of World Languages and Literatures. For accommodations, contact Bomi Hwang, lecturer in the world languages and literatures department, at bhwang@csusb.edu.
