Little Arabia Adventure - SBC

Join CSUSB Adventure for a day of cultural exploration, community, and connection in Southern California! We’ll begin our experience in Little Arabia in Anaheim, one of Southern California’s most vibrant Arab American communities. Explore the neighborhood, experience its unique shops and markets, and enjoy lunch featuring authentic Middle Eastern cuisine.

In the afternoon, we’ll visit the Islamic Society of Orange County (ISOC) for an interactive and welcoming introduction to the local Muslim community. Our visit will begin with a cultural talk and sampling of snacks, followed by a guided tour of the campus. We’ll then have the opportunity to respectfully observe afternoon prayers in the mosque and learn more about Islamic traditions, community life, and the role of the mosque through a brief question-and-answer session.

This trip offers a firsthand opportunity to experience the food, traditions, faith, and community that contribute to Southern California’s rich cultural diversity. Come ready to explore, learn, ask questions, and connect with a community that is an important part of the region’s cultural landscape.
