Herstory in Balboa Park - San Diego

Join CSUSB Adventure for a day in San Diego featuring women’s history, urban hiking, and the beauty of Balboa Park. Begin with the Balboa Park Women’s History Tour, a guided walking experience celebrating the remarkable women who helped shape Balboa Park and San Diego. Led by volunteers and staff from the San Diego History Center, the tour begins and ends at the Casa de Balboa and includes additional stories of San Diego women in the museum galleries.

After the tour, explore Balboa Park’s iconic Botanical Building before embarking on the approximately 5.5-mile Seven Bridges urban hike through Balboa Park, Bankers Hill, Hillcrest, and surrounding neighborhoods. This engaging day combines local history, outdoor activity, architecture, gardens, and time to connect with fellow participants.
