Open Access Publishing: Publish Smarter, Save Money, Reach More Readers

Publishing open access can feel complicated, but the Library has already done the legwork for you. Dr Jennifer Beamer will walk through three concrete ways the CSUSB Library helps you make your work open: negotiating publishing agreements so you keep key rights to your own work, tapping into Read & Publish deals that waive or discount article processing fees with major publishers, and depositing your Peer Reviewed Author Accepted Manuscript in CSUSB ScholarWorks —for free, which is Google Scholar-indexed, and available even when a journal won't post the published PDF.
