Neurodiversity Space Grand Opening

Neurodiversity Space Grand Opening

February 5, 2024
10:30am - 12:00pm
PL 4005 Faculty Center for Excellence Pfau Library 4th Floor

Please join us Feb 5 at 10:30-12 to celebrate the grand opening of the Neurodiversity space called "The Cog: a space for neuroharmony, neuroconnection and neurodiversity." We are so happy to be officially kicking off this new space for inclusion for people with and without disabilities and their allies.

Beginning this semester, the cog will be fully staffed M-Th, offering regular weekly programming including coaching, mentoring, homework time, sensory lending library, maker time, observance of major disability-related events, film screenings, and more! More info: https://www.csusb.edu/ssd/neurodiversity-center

For the grand opening, we will have a neurodiverse performer from the most world-renowned autism inclusion performing arts group The Miracle Project, key figures in the community, university leadership, and much more. We will provide tours of the neurodiversity space to and from the FCE.

We hope you can join us! (and please feel free to circulate the flyer!)
