Anthropocene: The Human Epoch film screening and panel presentation
February 5, 2020
12:00pm - 2:30pm
SMSU Theater (SU-107)

You are cordially invited to join us on February 5, noon to 2:30 p.m., for a screening of the award-winning documentary "Anthropocene: The Human Epoch," followed by a multi-disciplinary panel presentation.
The program will take place in the Santos Manuel Student Union Theater, located in SU-107.
We hope you will engage with us in discussing important questions the film raises, such as:
- How are humans dramatically changing the earth?
- What impacts are already affecting our way of life?
- Are we past the point of no return, or can we turn things around?
Panelists will consider these questions and more from various perspectives, including Geography and Environmental Studies (Jennifer D. Alford, Assistant Professor); Chemistry and Biochemistry (Andreas Beyersdorf, Assistant Professor); and Psychology (Brittany Bloodhart, Assistant Professor).
Jeremy Murray, Associate Professor of History, will serve as moderator.
The event is free and open to the public. Parking is $6.
