The 4-year program

Army ROTC is a 4-year program. The first two years of the program comprise the Basic Course (MSI and MSII). You can enroll in the program for the first two years without incurring any future military obligation (if you don't have an ROTC scholarship).

As a Cadet in the Advanced Course, you will spend 30 days during the summer between your Junior and Senior year at Cadet Summer Training (CST). CST consists of utilizing skills you have learned through the program, such as tactile training, land navigation, map reading, and more.

After completion of the Army ROTC program, you will commision as a Second Lieutenant for the U.S. Army, with your choice of Active Duty, Reserve, or National Guard.
