CSUSB Alert: Power has been restored to the San Bernardino campus; normal operations will resume Friday, July 26th.

Power to the San Bernardino campus has been restored as of 9:55 a.m. Normal campus operations will resume Friday, July 26th. Essential staff with questions on whether to report should contact their appropriate administrator. Facilities Management will be working to check all building systems including HVAC, elevators and fire alarms. If power has not been restored in your work area when you return, please report that to Facilities Planning and Management at (909) 537-5175. The Palm Desert Campus remains open and operational.

Meet the Firms

Beta Alpha Psi annually organizes Meet the Firm event to invite Accounting and Finance Service firms to CSUSB.  Alumni also join this event to support our students.  If you want to participate in the event, please contact Beta Alpha Psi (bapofficers@gmail.com) or Department (909 537 5704).

 

VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Program

Every year Accounting students serve communities by providing free tax filing services for low income families in San Bernardino. Communities received large amounts of tax saving.

Student Management Fund Program

Citizen Business Bank and our Department work together to provide students hands-on investment/trading experience.

 

Alumni Mixer

Department provides a venue of gathering.  Alumni and current students interact to share information or experience together. Advisory Boards Department and Advisory Boards (Professionals) meet together and discuss new trends and needs in Accounting and Finance. This information helps us to update our curriculum.

 

CalCPA events at JHBC

Department and CalCPA co-sponsored CalCPA events. Students have a chance to meet with CPAs who share valuable information about CPA preparation and professional experience.
