
Mary Jane McCoy, a graduate of CSUSB who had a long career as an educator in the Inland Empire, will receive an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters on May 17. A member of the Class of 1967, the university’s first graduating class, she served as an elementary school teacher and a principal in San Bernardino.

Paul Granillo, a CSUSB alumnus and president and CEO of the Inland Empire Economic Partnership, will be honored at the May 17 Spring Commencement with a CSU Trustee-Nominated Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters.

A weekend of ceremonies honored the efforts and dedication of approximately 1,900 graduates. Family and friends celebrated their achievement Dec. 13-14 at CSUSB’s Fall Commencement.

CSUSB’s Fall Commencement ceremonies will be held on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 13-14, at the university's Coussoulis Arena.

“Your impact, as new degree holders, is creating a marked and structural difference right here in the Inland Empire,” CSUSB President Tomás D. Morales told the university’s Class of 2024.

Olayinka Owoseni is the college’s Outstanding Graduate Student, while Sade Harper is the Outstanding Undergraduate Student. They were honored at the college’s Spring Commencement ceremony on May 18 at the Toyota Arena in Ontario.

Sarah Garcia, Sarah LaGioia, Ramtin Ranjpour and Luisa Rosa Notarangelo Lange were named the College of Arts and Letters’ outstanding students. This year, four students, two graduate and two undergraduate, were honored at the college’s Spring Commencement ceremony on May 18 at the Toyota Arena in Ontario.

Beyza Aktepe, a nutrition science major, is the college’s Outstanding Graduate Student and David Murillo, a chemistry major, is the Outstanding Undergraduate Student. They were honored at the College of Natural Science’s Spring Commencement ceremony on May 18 at the Toyota Arena in Ontario.

Geoffrey Demke, who lives in Indio, received a bachelor of arts degree in history at this year’s CSUSB College of Social and Behavioral Sciences Commencement ceremony, which took place on May 17 at the Toyota Arena in Ontario.
