
Carson Fajardo, twice elected president of the university’s Associated Students Inc. and now a student in the Master of Public Administration program, will serve a two-year term as one of the board’s two student trustees.

All 23 California State University campuses were rated four stars or higher in Money.com’s 2025 list of the Best Colleges in America, with 15 campuses landing in the top 10 percent of colleges nationwide. Among them, CSUSB emerged as a five-star standout — one of only nine CSU campuses to receive Money’s highest distinction.

The California State University Board of Trustees has approved the naming of the university’s entrepreneurship school and center as the Randall W. Lewis School of Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the Randall W. Lewis Center for Entrepreneurship.

CSUSB students earned top awards at the 39th annual California State University (CSU) Student Research Competition held recently at Cal Poly Humboldt. Fourteen CSUSB students were selected to compete in the prestigious event, which showcases top student research from across the 23 CSU campuses.

Fourteen students will represent Cal State San Bernardino at the California State University (CSU) Research Competition, held on April 25-26 at Cal Poly Humboldt. The statewide competition brings together top scholars from the 23 CSU campuses in this prestigious academic showcase.

Super Sunday, the statewide outreach by the California State University, took place on Feb. 23 when the university system that includes CSUSB joined with Black and African American churches to talk about the transformational power of a college degree.

The California State University’s Super Sunday, set for Feb. 23, is an initiative that focuses on the importance of higher education. Black and African American congregations across California will receive presentations from CSU officials.

Students will develop their presentation and communication skills while demonstrating their scholarly achievements at the event, set for 9 a.m., in the Center for Global Innovation.
