Power to the San Bernardino campus has been restored as of 9:55 a.m. Normal campus operations will resume Friday, July 26th. Essential staff with questions on whether to report should contact their appropriate administrator. Facilities Management will be working to check all building systems including HVAC, elevators and fire alarms. If power has not been restored in your work area when you return, please report that to Facilities Planning and Management at (909) 537-5175. The Palm Desert Campus remains open and operational.

Bio

Robert (Bob) Stokes has lived and worked in some interesting places. Big cities (Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia) and not so big, state capital cities (Richmond, VA and Columbia, SC).  In his 20+ years working in academia, he has been a faculty member in departments of urban planning/affairs, criminal justice, environmental studies, public policy and administration. He has a diverse set of research and teaching interests in the areas of crime prevention/policing, economic development, place governance models, public health and environmental sustainability planning. He is a native of Philadelphia, PA and earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Millersville University of Pennsylvania, an M.A. in Geography and Urban Studies from Temple University, and a Ph.D. from the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University.  Last but not least, he is the proud father of a teenage daughter, Rigby Elizabeth.
