Bio

 

Rajrani Kalra, is a professor in the department of geography and environmental studies at California State University, San Bernardino. She has been at CSUSB since last 17 years, She received her PhD in geography from Kent State University (2007). Her research interests are in the areas of urban, economic and tourism geography. She has published 19 book chapters and peer review journal articles. Her most recent publications are in the areas of linguistic diversity of India (2019) and tourism geography (2020-2021). She has presented her research at more than fifty international and national geography conferences. She was the President of International Phi Beta Delta (2016-2017) an international honors society. She was also a visiting research fellow at the Department of Geography, University of Otago, New Zealand (Summer 2018) a Visiting professor in Harbin, China (Summer 2019; Fall 2023) and a visiting professor at Fuyong Normal University (Fall 2023).
