Bio
Dr. Henley is a Full Professor, and the Coordinator for both Health Services Administration Programs (BSHSA & MSHSA), in the Department of Health Science at California State University, San Bernardino. She holds a Ph.D. in Health Services from UCLA and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She is committed to the “Each One, Teach One” philosophy, which is rooted in student-centered pedagogy, and assists students in becoming independent thinkers, problem-solvers, and lifetime learners.
In 2019, she endowed the Evelyn Bronson Scholarship at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, her alma mater, to assist first-generation, Black students during their academic journey.

Research and Teaching Interests
Dr. Henley’s research and culturally-responsive evaluation work are centered around the social determinants of health framework and focuses on health equity for vulnerable populations (homeless and formerly incarcerated individuals). She serves on numerous community boards and describes herself as a “servant-leader”, passionate about assisting others in achieving their goals and committed to leaving a legacy for future generations.
