Dr. Ghazi serves as an adjunct faculty member in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at California State University, San Bernardino. In addition to his academic responsibilities, he works as an Enterprise Programmer Analyst at San Bernardino County.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ghazi has provided research, analysis, design, architecture, software development, and consultancy services to a wide range of organizations across various industries. His professional experience includes contributions to companies such as CNB, Johnson & Johnson, Herbalife, One Lambda (Thermo Fisher Scientific), Children Hospital Los Angeles, Bank of America, Cetera Financial Group, Dimensional Fund Advisors, Wescorp Federal Credit Union, South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD), Orange County Department of Education, City of Long Beach, Honda, LA Dodgers, Lending Tree, Ultimus, Net Tech, ABIS Technologies, Accuro Soft, and The Vertex Group.
Across various industry sectors, Dr. Ghazi has played key roles in the design and development of over 24 projects, resulting in the creation of more than 50 software systems and over 40 unique business process models. His work has consistently incorporated industry-standard tools, technologies, methodologies, and frameworks.
Dr. Ghazi also conducted research in the field of Data Science at the University of California, Irvine. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Nova Southeastern University in Florida, where his research focused on workflow automation and business process management (BPM). His academic interests include software engineering, databases, cybersecurity, and algorithms. He earned a Master of Science in Software Engineering from California State University, Fullerton, and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Quaid-i-Azam University. His undergraduate studies include a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics from the University of the Punjab. He received his early education at Forman Christian College University and from his hometown in Pakistan.
At CSU San Bernardino, Dr. Ghazi teaches courses in Database Systems (CSE 5720), Computer Science I (CSE 2010), Computer Science II (CSE 2020), Analysis of Algorithms (CSE 4310), and Web Application Development (CSE 4050). He also taught various computer science courses at the University of La Verne and La Sierra University.
