Marisa Yeager

Marisa V. Yeager serves the key position of Associate Vice President for Government, Tribal, and Community Relations. Yeager joined CSUSB from the Riverside Community College District, where she was Government Relations Director, an office she helped shape as its first incumbent.  She has worked in the field since she received her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California, Santa Barbara.  Yeager also has a master’s degree in public policy and administration from Cal State Long Beach.  Her previous experience includes serving as a legislative aide/staff assistant to then-California Congressman Xavier Becerra in Washington, D.C. She followed up this role by joining the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority for over two decades in various government relations roles for federal, state and local relations in its government relations office.
