Bio

Jacqueline Coyle-Shapiro is Professor in Leadership and Organizational Behavior at California State University San Bernardino and Emerita Professor in Organizational Behavior at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

*    Prior to joining CSUSB, she held positions at Oxford University and the London School of Economics

*    Has taught in Australia, Colombia, Hong Kong, Singapore, France, Germany and Norway

*    Supervised numerous PhD students and served on PhD committees

*    Has served as committee chair for the Responsible Research in Business and Management Awards (2020-2023). https://www.rrbm.network/

*    Delivered keynote addresses at international conferences and workshops

My current projects include:

Exploitative working relationships: Impact on employees’ health and behaviors (Funded by the Foundation for Science & Technology, Portugal)

Research and Teaching Interests

My research interests center on the employee-organization relationship and its consequences.  She studies psychological contracts, employment relationships and health, and social impact in poverty settings.  Her latest publications:
