Another great turnout at Choose CSUSB Day 2026

Choose CSUSB Day 2026 drew a strong turnout on March 21, welcoming approximately 1,785 attendees — including 711 admitted students and 1,074 family members and guests — for a day of connection and discovery. Future Coyotes admitted for the fall 2026 term explored campus, connected with CSUSB students, faculty and staff, and experienced student life. 

Throughout the day, attendees learned about CSUSB’s academic programs, student housing, financial aid, and the many resources designed to support student success. Workshops and resource fairs offered helpful insights, while campus tours gave students a firsthand look at life at CSUSB.

Additionally, students gained important information about next steps in the admissions process and were given the opportunity to accept their offer of admission to CSUSB in the fall. Many took the next step in their academic journey with 331 students submitting their intent to enroll and officially become Coyotes, including 130 first-time freshmen and 201 transfer students.

That momentum is reflected in strong commitment numbers for fall 2026, with notable increases in freshman, transfer and returning students from 2025:

• 1,361 freshman commitments, a 58.6% increase
• 2,083 transfer commitments, a 12.4% increase
• 82 returner commitments, an 18.8% increase
• 26.8% overall increase in undergraduate commitments to date

Choose CSUSB Day continues to play an important role in helping admitted students and their families feel confident and excited about joining the Coyote family.
