Forest Bathing: Full Moon

Forest Bathing: Full Moon

October 25, 2026
2:00pm - 9:30pm
Arcadia, CA

Before our Forest Bathing experience we have a couple hours to explore the Los Angeles Arboretum and Botanical Gardens which features 127 acres of plants, natural landscapes, wildlife and historic buildings. You will discover plants and trees from all over the world as you wander along paths and learn about California history on your journey through the garden.

Then our full moon walk begins before sunset, allowing us to experience the softening of light and sound, the changing sky, and the rising moon. As darkness falls, we shift from visual focus to subtler senses to guide our exploration.

A certified guide opens with a grounding welcome, followed by gentle invitations that support authentic connection with the land at the Los Angeles Arboretum. We close in circle with a shared herbal tisane.

What Is Forest Bathing:
Forest Bathing is a research-based wellness practice inspired by the Japanese tradition of shinrin-yoku. It supports healing through guided, sensory immersion in nature, shown to reduce stress, strengthen immune function, lower cortisol levels, reduce blood pressure, improve mood and improve mental clarity. By slowing down and engaging all of our senses, Forest Bathing encourages participants to engage all of their senses, deepening presence and fostering a more reciprocal, restorative relationship with the natural world.
