The award recognizes the work of Jessica Nerren, a lecturer in the Department of Communication and Media, in and out of the classroom, and her advocacy for all students, especially the neurodiverse, to ensure they have the opportunity and resources to succeed at CSUSB.
Elizabeth Musgrove, the chief of Student Services for the California Department of Rehabilitation and an alumna of Cal State San Bernardino, came to campus to see first firsthand the university’s disability inclusion efforts and resources for Indigenous students, and to reconnect with faculty.
Returning for a second time, Jess Block Nerren, alumna and full-time lecturer in the Department of Communication and Media, will become the Faculty Disability Inclusion Fellow for Cal State San Bernardino on Aug. 18.
