CSUSB hosted San Bernardino County’s History Day Competition, bringing together nearly 700 students, educators and families. Students from across the region showcased months of research through creative projects, with top winners advancing to the state competition.
The university’s John M. Pfau Library opened its doors recently to about 90 middle school students from throughout San Bernardino County, offering expert guidance and academic resources to elevate their History Day projects. The San Bernardino County History Day Competition will take place in March.
San Bernardino County students from fourth grade through high school senior used podcasts, websites, exhibits, performances and documentaries to present research-based history/social science-based projects.
Working with the theme, “Rights and Responsibilities,” students from fourth grade through high school senior will present their research-based history/social science-based projects in the Santos Manuel Student Union-South beginning at 8 a.m.
