
The California Truth & Healing Council’s Nov. 18 quarterly meeting included a blessing by San Manuel Band of Mission Indian bird singers, community testimonials, a panel discussion, and speaker Kimberly Cluff, legal director of California Tribal Families Coalition.

The California Truth & Healing Council bears witness to, records, examines existing documentation of, and receives California Native American narratives regarding the historical relationship between the state of California and California Native Americans to clarify the historical record of such relationship in the spirit of truth and healing.

On Monday, Nov. 13, Cal State San Bernardino will welcome a delegation of 25 university officials from China for a professional development day.

In partnership with the University of California, Riverside, Cal State San Bernardino will welcome a group of women in academia to the International Women in Higher Education Leadership Summit.

The summit, held in partnership with UC Riverside, featured a panel presentation, focusing on some of the successful CSUSB programs that have helped improve the community, as well as a question-and-answer roundtable discussion.

The event, “To Serve Me, You Must Know Me,” presented by the Inland Empire Disabilities Collaborative, will take place at the university’s Yasuda Center beginning at 9 a.m.

The conference will be June 5 at the Yasuda Center and includes one-on-one consultation with Philippines or China representatives and will conclude with a special luncheon keynote speech on Blockchain Technology & International Trade.
