Chad Sweeney (English) wrote about writers participating in open mic-nights to share their work, and Stuart Sumida (biology) was interviewed about his consulting work on films like “Jurassic World.”

The movie, which is also open to the public, will be shown Oct. 26 at the SMSU Theater, with the interview with Gore following at 3:45 p.m.

Following the showing of the movie on Feb. 19 in the John M. Pfau Library, CIMES will host a question-and-answer session with the film’s director, Lena Khan.
