CSUSB’s commitment to giving back to the community is showcased during the month of April as the Office of Community Engagement celebrates National Volunteer Month. A Volunteer Fair is set for 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, along Coyote Walk.

Coyote Cares Day on Feb. 17 had volunteers packing food for a local pantry and going out into the community to help out at area agencies for the annual day of service by students, faculty, staff and alumni from Cal State San Bernardino.

The Coyote Cares Day volunteers worked on campus packaging dry soup mix for the needy and also out in the field at a domestic violence shelter, a food bank and community centers.

CSUSB’s annual volunteer event, Coyote Cares Day, will be held on two days – Feb. 17 from 1-4:30 p.m., and Feb. 18 from 7:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
