For second consecutive year, CSUSB student-run history journal earns top national prize

History in the Making: A Journal of History has been awarded first place in the 2020 Gerald D. Nash History Graduate Journal competition, given by the Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society.

The Department of History will celebrate its Class of 2020 beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 4, on Zoom.

The Department of History will host its fall graduation celebration and its Phi Alpha Theta “Ritual of Induction” on Friday, Dec. 4, at 6 p.m. via Zoom.

The 13th volume of History in the Making, the Cal State San Bernardino Department of History’s award-winning journal that showcases the work of its students, is now available online.

“The Rise of Women, #MeToo, and Why it Matters,” will take place Monday, Dec. 3, in the university’s Santos Manuel Student Union Theater. The event opens with refreshments at 5 p.m., with the program scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
