Marina Kamel, communications and events specialist for CSUSB’s Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration, has built a career grounded in creativity, resilience and community. A proud Egyptian-American and two-time CSUSB alumna, she continues to inspire through her dedication to student success and lifelong learning.
Cal State San Bernardino celebrated the achievements of its outstanding alumni at the 2025 Alumni Hall of Fame Awards, honoring university-wide and college-specific awardees for their professional success and community impact.
Jacqueline Coyle-Shapiro, preeminent organizational behavior scholar and leader in the field, brings both intellect and impact to her research and teaching at CSUSB’s Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration.
“We’re thrilled that our MBA program is ranked year-after-year as a Tier One MBA by CEO Magazine,” said Taewon Yang, CSUSB MBA program director. “This recognition speaks to the excellence of our faculty, the strength of our curriculum, and our deep commitment to empowering students for success.”
Three university-wide awards — Distinguished Alumnus, Emerging Leader and Coyote Spirit — will be presented at the annual Alumni Hall of Fame Awards ceremony on April 25 at the Alumni Center.
CSUSB MBA alumnus Patrick Marshall, co-founder of the College Collaborative System, is now serving as vice president of the San Jose/Silicon Valley Branch of the NAACP and teaching criminal justice at Mission College. He remains dedicated to uniting people through education, advocacy and leadership.
CSUSB’s criminal justice and MBA online programs continue to be ranked among the top programs in the nation – and in California – by the highly regarded U.S. News & World Report.
Three university-wide awards — Distinguished Alumnus, Emerging Leader and Coyote Spirit — will be presented, as well as the Paw Print Awards, which honor esteemed alumni from each of the university’s five colleges.
