
Chinese brush painting and other cultural activities were featured at inaugural Taiwan Fair on May 24, at the John M. Pfau Library.

The student-organized golf tournament at the Canyon Crest Country Club in Riverside will raise money for the CSUSB Sports and Entertainment Marketing Scholarship Fund.

Original CSUSB student artwork will be on display at the Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art from June 18-July 31.

“Our San Bernardino Nuestro” will be presented from 4-7 p.m. in the John M. Pfau Library, PL-015.

The newspaper featured Terry Smith in its “Artist Spotlight” series. Smith, a Crestline resident, is playing Prospero in “The Tempest,” part of the third annual Courtyard Shakespeare Festival at California Baptist University in Riverside.

Works composed for orchestra by Allen Menton, an associate professor of music theory and composition, and music majors Edwin De Paz and Josh Ryan were featured in the CSUSB Chamber Orchestra concert performed June 7.

The university will surpass 100,000 graduates during its five commencement ceremonies on Thursday and Saturday, June 14 and 16, when more than 3,500 students are expected to participate.

Brian Levin (criminal justice) is interviewed for a story on how three men may have been motivated by social media to plot a hate crime, and Bob Knop (music) will direct the CSUSB Jazz Ensemble at a concert later in June.

Erika Quiñonez, who majored in English, is the Outstanding Graduate Student, and Graciela Troche who majored in communication studies with a minor in German, is the Outstanding Undergraduate Student.
