Kristi Papailler, assistant professor in CSUSB’s Department of Theatre Arts, joins with four CSUSB theatre alumni in this year’s Midsummer Shakespeare Festival in the Sontag Greek Theatre at Pomona College. They are all involved with Ophelia’s Jump Productions, which has two shows in the festival this July: “La Tempestad” and “The Knight of the Burning Pestle.

Cal State San Bernardino is hosting 21 international students for the Global Summer Entrepreneurship Summit from July 7-20. The two-week program, led by faculty from CSUSB's School of Entrepreneurship, features a curriculum designed to provide a robust understanding of entrepreneurship while fostering creativity and innovation.

CSUSB’s Center for Cyber & Artificial Intelligence, in collaboration with the Office of Pre-College Programs, is hosting the 10th annual youth cyber summer camp, “CyberGuardians: Navigating the AI-Enhanced Future,” from July 7-12. The camp will welcome 60 high school students from across the Inland Empire region.

Ryan Keating (history) was interviewed on the Addressing Gettysburg podcast and delivered the Gabor Borrit Address at the 2024 Civil War Institute Summer Conference at Gettysburg College, Brian Levin (criminal justice, emeritus), discussed the increase in hate crimes against the Muslim community, and Lorraine Hedtke (special education rehabilitation and counseling) will lead a workshop at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University Aug. 31-Sept. 1.
