Hosted by the university’s Associated Students Inc., with Orientation & First Year Experience, The Coyote Experience Fall 2024 took place at the Santos Manuel Student Union (SMSU) North and South on Aug. 23, drawing a crowd of eager students ready to embark on the new academic year.

The certificate in computer science for K-12 educators will be offered online through Professional and Continuing Education in the College of Extended and Global Education.

In the study, “Another Civil War in America? Comparing the Social Psychology of the United States of the 1850s to Today,” authors Montgomery Van Wart, Cary M. Barber and Miranda McIntyre of Cal State San Bernardino, and Jeremy L. Hall of the University of Central Florida, examined the much-discussed idea of a second civil war.

On Sept. 10 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., CSUSB’s Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration is hosting the JHBC Resource Fair, which is designed to provide business students with a comprehensive overview of the resources, opportunities and support systems available to them as they embark on the 2024-25 academic year.

The musical, Pippin, was performed by CSUSB student actors and took place on campus in April 2024.

The CSUSB Department of Theatre Arts announces its 2024-25 season, featuring a blend of classic and contemporary productions, and prepares for the grand opening of the new Performing Arts Center in spring 2025.

Sept. 17 is National Voter Registration Day, and Cal State San Bernardino and the CSUSB Palm Desert Campus will hold voter registration events from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

Be registered to vote in the Nov. 5 election. The San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters will be on the San Bernardino campus and the Riverside County Registrar of Voters will be at the Palm Desert Campus from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on Sept. 17.
