
The campus will be open from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and will be closed on every Friday through Aug. 31.

Citing it as being responsive to the needs of the inland region, the College of Education at Cal State San Bernardino received reaccreditation by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

Brian Levin and John David Reitzel (CSUSB, criminal justice) wrote an analysis on that latest hate crime statistics. Also, Darren Goodman, adjunct instructor, criminal justice, is appointed chief of the Upland Police Department.

CSUSB said goodbye on to its first Coyotes Rising cohort after the students’ visit to the university from June 24-26. The summer overnight program is for high achieving African American students.

Coyote Village at Cal State San Bernardino is nearing completion, and the university’s Department of Housing and Residential Education on June 28 will begin offering tours to faculty and staff.

Veteran educator Bruce Shepard has been appointed to serve as interim dean of the CSUSB Palm Desert Campus, effective Aug. 1.
