Cal State San Bernardino has been recognized for its continued leadership and partnership in the #CaliforniansForAll College Corps, a first-of-its-kind state program that provides students with financial support and meaningful service opportunities. Housed in the university’s Office of Pre-College Programs, CSUSB College Corps helps students gain career experience while addressing community needs. Service activities focus on K-12 education, climate change and food insecurity.
During the 2025-26 program year, 87 CSUSB College Corps fellows contributed 37,388 hours of service to surrounding communities while gaining career-ready experience and developing professional and civic leadership skills.
Cal State San Bernardino met all three of the program’s statewide performance benchmarks:
- Enrollment: CSUSB filled 100% of its allocated fellow positions.
- Retention: 95.4% of fellows remained in good standing by completing at least 300 hours of service.
- Completion: 90.8% of fellows successfully completed the full program by completing at least 450 hours of service and earning their full award.
The recognition reflects the efforts of CSUSB’s College Corps staff, campus leadership, faculty, community partners and student fellows.
Through College Corps, CSUSB students serve their communities while developing skills and experiences that support their academic, professional and civic growth. The program also strengthens connections among higher education, community service and workforce development.
In 2022, Cal State San Bernardino was selected as a partner campus to participate in the inaugural year of the statewide program, expanding opportunities for students to address community needs while preparing for careers and leadership roles.
Since its inception, CSUSB College Corps fellows have completed more than 126,953 hours of service through local K-12 school districts and community organizations across San Bernardino and Riverside counties.
