Cal State San Bernardino has simplified the transfer process for community college students through its CSUSB Instant Admit Days.

During the events, transfer students will meet one-on-one with CSUSB admissions evaluators and outreach counselors, who will review their coursework to determine eligibility for spring 2027 admission. Students who qualify will receive a guaranteed “Coyote Pass,” providing pre-approval – or an admission seat – for the semester.

In addition to receiving an on-the-spot admission decision, students can learn about academic majors and the transfer process. They also receive guidance on next steps. 

Financial aid representatives will be available at the events to answer questions and present information about financial aid. Additionally, students will receive printed financial aid tips and resources to help them navigate the financial aid process.

Dedicated admissions counselors trained to assist international students will also be available during each event.

CSUSB Instant Admit Days will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at the following community colleges:

  • Victor Valley College — Wednesday, Aug. 5
  • Chaffey College — Thursday, Aug. 20
  • College of the Desert — Thursday, Aug. 27
  • San Bernardino Valley College — Friday, Aug. 28
  • Crafton Hills College — Thursday, Sept. 3
  • Norco College — Tuesday, Sept. 8
  • Riverside City College — Tuesday, Sept. 15

In advance of attending Instant Admit Days, students can RSVP for the event and schedule an appointment online. Space is limited, so students are encouraged to register early. 

By attending, students will have the opportunity to submit their application with confidence and secure their spot for spring 2027. Registration is now open, and applications for spring 2027 admission will be accepted through Sept. 30, with classes beginning in January. Students may apply to any non-impacted major and social work. 

Cal State San Bernardino offers more than 70 bachelor's and master's degree programs, education credential and certificate programs, and a doctoral program through its five academic colleges and the Palm Desert Campus.
