Cal State San Bernardino continued its commitment to community connection this Valentine’s Day by partnering for the second consecutive year with Wish of a Lifetime to bring joy to residents at Valley Healthcare Center in San Bernardino.

Handmade notes
CSUSB students created heartfelt cards for the residents at Valley Healthcare Center.

During the Delightful event held at the Coyote Commons, CSUSB students created heartfelt, handmade cards for the residents. Wish of a Lifetime provided 125 assorted roses to accompany the messages, adding a special touch to each delivery.

This year, CSUSB’s Office of Community Engaged Learning and Yotie Eats collaborated with Wish of a Lifetime to lead the outreach effort. The initiative reflected the university’s continued commitment to civic engagement by extending CSUSB’s spirit of service beyond campus.

Wish of a Lifetime, a nonprofit organization focused on inspiring hope and purpose in older adults by helping fulfill meaningful wishes, played an integral role in supporting the effort. For more information, visit the Wish of a Lifetime website
