CSUSB’s Office of Pre-College Programs (OPP), in partnership with the Office of Outreach and Student Recruitment and the Office of Admissions Operations and Systems, will host Instant Admit Day events on Oct. 18 and Jan. 24 from 9 a.m.-2:15 p.m. at Cal State San Bernardino.

These milestone events are designed exclusively for high school seniors participating in OPP programs, honoring their achievements and welcoming them into the CSUSB community. Students who meet admissions requirements will be instantly admitted to the university and celebrated for reaching this critical step toward higher education.

Throughout the day, participants will join customized workshops, receive guidance on financial aid and the CSUSB application, tour campus, explore on-the-spot scholarship opportunities, and end the day with a celebratory recognition event.

For many students, this moment is about more than starting college — it’s about breaking barriers and opening doors of opportunity.

“These events celebrate our students’ resilience and determination, serving as a launching pad into higher education,” said Summer Steele, executive director of CSUSB’s Office of Pre-College Programs. “Our commitment is to walk alongside students every step of the way, providing the support that empowers them to envision a successful future at CSUSB.”

The CSUSB Office of Pre-College Programs houses 14 initiatives that serve more than 10,000 students annually across the Inland Empire. Through academic tutoring, leadership development, summer programs, financial aid and admissions guidance, and college visits, OPP supports students from middle school through college entry — helping them graduate high school, enroll in higher education, and persist through degree completion.

From application to admission in a single day, OPP’s Instant Admit Day reflects CSUSB’s commitment to making higher education accessible, achievable and celebratory for students and their families.
