Cal State San Bernardino’s Center for Cyber & Artificial Intelligence (CyAI), formerly known as the Cybersecurity Center, will host its annual open house on Friday, Oct. 17, from 7-9 p.m. at Jack Brown Hall on the CSUSB campus.
The open house is the center’s largest community event of the year and continues the tradition of taking place during CSUSB’s Homecoming Week. The event is open to the public and invites students, their families, faculty, counselors and community members to learn about the opportunities available in cyber education, including scholarships, apprenticeships, research, community and workforce development, outreach and career readiness at CSUSB’s Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration.
This year’s open house will feature presentations from Tony Coulson, executive director of the Center for Cyber & AI, and Vincent Nestler, director of the Center for Cyber & AI. Attendees will hear how CSUSB is helping prepare the next generation of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence professionals through hands-on learning, mentorship, and industry partnerships.
Following the presentations, guests can explore the Cyber & AI Expo, where they can view interactive exhibits, student showcases and live demonstrations highlighting current projects and research in cybersecurity and AI. Representatives from CSUSB’s San Bernardino campus programs and several associated student clubs will also be on-site to help families imagine the educational pathways available to students.
The event will conclude with networking opportunities and refreshments, giving guests a firsthand look at how CSUSB’s Center for Cyber & AI continues to lead regional and national efforts to prepare students for high-demand careers that combine technical excellence with real-world impact.
