Cal State San Bernardino is streamlining the transfer process for community college students with its CSUSB Instant Admit Days, set for Aug. 12-28. During these events, transfer students will meet with admissions counselors and evaluators to determine their eligibility for spring 2026 admission.

An on-the-spot review of coursework will be conducted, and students who qualify will receive a “Coyote Pass,” guaranteeing them pre-approval or an admissions seat for the semester.

Appointments will be available from 9 a.m. to noon. Due to limited availability, early registration is encouraged — although walk-ins will also be welcomed. CSUSB Instant Admit Days will be held at the following locations:

  • Riverside Community College District – Tuesday, Aug. 12
  • San Bernardino Valley College – Thursday, Aug. 14
  • Victor Valley College – Tuesday, Aug. 19
  • Chaffey College – Thursday, Aug. 21
  • College of the Desert – Tuesday, Aug. 26
  • Crafton Hills College – Thursday, Aug. 28

In advance of attending Instant Admit Days, students can RSVP for the event and schedule an appointment online. By attending, they’ll have the opportunity to submit their CSUSB application with confidence and secure their spot for the spring 2026 term. Applications are now being accepted through Sept. 15, with classes beginning in January.

Cal State San Bernardino offers more than 70 traditional baccalaureate and master's degree programs, education credential and certificate programs, and a doctoral program, all housed within five academic colleges and the Palm Desert Campus.

Students can apply to any non-impacted major and social work. However, nursing is impacted and will not be accepting applications.
