The opening of the festival featured Honryesik, a traditional Korean wedding ceremony, and cooking demonstration of Guksu. This year’s theme, “Hansik: an abundance of tastes, ingredients, dishes, and surprises,” set the tone for the evening as attendees enjoyed traditional Korean cuisine, including bap, rice, and banchan, side dishes, served along with Korean beverages and sweets.
