The JHBC Office of Academic Equity will host its sixth annual ShEconomy on Wednesday, Oct. 18, at 6 p.m. This event will take place at Cal State San Bernardino’s Santos Manuel Student Union South 107 – Auditorium/Theater and on Zoom. 

This year the event will cover the topic, “Negotiating for Women’s Economic Empowerment.” It will include a presentation on the state of the ShEconomy and a discussion with a panel of women who will present their opinions on the topic.

This year’s panelists include:

  • Jackie Scott, director of the Inland Empire Women’s Business Center
  • Carla Panzera, business finance consultant and director for the State Guaranty
  • Dezzarae Henderson, CEO of the 44HiRe HR Solutions
  • Evelia Carmona, senior manager at Southern California Edison

The JHBC Office of Academic Equity, which is housed in the university’s Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration, will offer a hybrid format. If you choose to attend online, the Zoom link is available via email after registration is complete. The event is free and open to the public.
