Materials created for Cal State San Bernardino’s Our Defining Moment campaign have been recognized by the Inland Empire chapter of the American Advertising Federation.

“Our Defining Moment: The Campaign for CSUSB,” designed by the university’s Office of Strategic Communication, was given bronze honorable mentions for the campaign’s launch video, case for support, and brand identity package, which includes materials such as logo animation and email designs.

“These acknowledgments serve as a recognition of the exceptional work put forth by our team and the remarkable success of the Our Defining Moment campaign,” said Robert Tenczar, associate vice president of strategic communication. “This achievement underscores our unwavering dedication to crafting impactful narratives that resonate with our audience. We are excited to continue pushing boundaries and setting new standards for excellence.”

The American Advertising Awards, also known as Addys, is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting over 40,000 entries every year in local competitions such as the Inland Empire.

CSUSB’s Our Defining Moment campaign is the first public university in the nation to launch a blended comprehensive campaign that includes philanthropic fundraising and funding for grants and research.
