The Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art (RAFFMA) at Cal State San Bernardino will feature “Here to Career: Title V Grant Completion Exhibit” in the Dutton Family Gallery. This exhibition will be on display Sept. 12 to Oct. 8, with an opening reception hosted at RAFFMA Saturday, Sept. 10 from 5-7 p.m.

“Here to Career” will feature the culmination of five years of work from both students and faculty in the support of the Title V Here to Career Grant from the U.S. Department of Education. All creative output on display highlights the grant’s purpose of improving student success in the field of digital media.

The Here to Career Grant was a joint effort of CSUSB, Norco College and San Bernardino Valley College to serve and expand limited institutional resources for Hispanic and low-income students through promoting education, career readiness and problem-based learning activities.

Several works on display include cross campus, cross discipline and community-based collaborations featuring graphic design, digital music, video, animation and computer programming projects. An eclectic combination of mixed genre projects include: brand identity design in conjunction with original digital music scores, digital zine production and video storytelling, and nonprofit community-based projects with digital design thinking.

RSVP to the opening reception at the RAFFMA RSVP webpage.
