California State University Chancellor Timothy P. White will hold a live-streamed conversation with Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, regarding COVID-19 on Friday, Dec. 18 from noon to 12:45 p.m. (PT).

The virtual talk with Chancellor White will include a question & answer between Dr. Fauci and the CSU campus presidents including CSUSB President Tomás D. Morales. The event will be livestreamed at the California State University website.

As COVID-19 cases continue to rise in California, currently reported at 1,617,370 cases and 21,188 deaths in the state reported as of Dec. 15, national health expert Dr. Fauci will share his perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing the country’s largest four-year university.

The CSU is recognized as a national leader as the first university system to announce a move to primarily virtual instruction for the 2020-21 academic year, prioritizing the health and safety of its faculty, staff, students and campus communities during the pandemic.
