Cal State San Bernardino has been listed as one of the top 50 schools across the nation for degrees in health care administration, according to Study.com.“As we are committed to transforming future leaders, we are very proud of this recognition,” said Sastry G. Pantula, dean of the College of Natural Sciences. “This ranking is also a reflection of our college as a destination for students from diverse backgrounds who have demonstrated an extraordinary level of hard work, a passion for health care reaching to everyone, and a desire to apply their training and education to benefit their communities.”CSUSB, listed at No. 46, offers a bachelor’s in health science with a concentration in health care management, a master’s in health services administration and a certificate in health care management, all through the College of Natural Sciences.According to Study.com, the ranking, which only includes accredited, nonprofit public and private schools, was made “to help students interested in health care leadership and management careers find the right school to fit their education and career goals.”Study.com used data from the U.S. Department of Education, including tuition and graduation rates, and looked at factors like the diversity of program offerings, scholarship availability and student support services.“Most rankings on other websites talk about top-tier schools that might be too pricey, selective, or elite for many students,” according to the Study.com website. “Our rankings focus on quality school programs that provide a high-value education, while still being accessible and affordable. That’s why things like price, value, and attainability are major factors for schools in all our lists.”CSUSB is one of only two California State Universities to make the list, with Cal State Northridge at No. 42.To view the whole list, visit the Study.com website.Visit the CSUSB Department of Health Science and Human Ecology website for more information about its programs.
