Cal State San Bernardino was listed among the top 25 best value online Master of Public Administration (MPA) programs for 2019 according to Value Colleges.

“It is important for us to offer a quality online MPA program that fits our students’ learning style and career goals,” said Lawrence Rose, dean of the Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration. “We are honored to have our online program recognized as one of the best.”

The ranking, which listed CSUSB at No. 20, is based on research of accredited MPA programs offering fully online and hybrid degrees. From there, the programs are ranked in four main criteria: U.S. News Public Affairs ranking, student reviews from Niche.com, current IPEDS tuition rates, and average alumni salary from College Scorecard.

According to the Value Colleges website, the cross-section of factors helps prospective students see that the program they are choosing is not only high in quality and convenience, but has a solid return on investment and a positive impact on their career.

“An online MPA degree gives busy adults the opportunity to earn the credentials they need for promotion while keeping their job and incorporating their learning into their current job,” the Value Colleges website reads. “With an online Master of Public Administration, civil service professionals can take the next step in their career, and with the VC Best Values ranking, they can do it knowing their degree will pay off.”

CSUSB joins two other California State Universities on the list – Cal State Long Beach at No. 12 and CSU Dominguez Hills at No. 22.
