The Asian Faculty, Staff and Student Association (AFSSA) at Cal State San Bernardino will host its Spring Awards Banquet, Thursday, May 10, 4-7 p.m., in the Santos Manuel Student Events Center.

AFSSA will present scholarships and awards to students and student organizations, and will recognize faculty and staff for their outstanding service and contributions to the campus.

The banquet will also feature musical performances from CSUSB’s international students, and a martial arts demonstration by a master Shaolin warrior monk and his students. A light dinner will be served.

AFSSA is an all-volunteer organization that works to better promote the diversity and appreciation of Asian cultures, and promote activities leading to the betterment of Asian/Pacific Americans at CSUSB and beyond. AFSSA also aims to identify issues, advance equality and diversity on campus, and foster interaction and partnership between the university and the greater Asian/Pacific American community.
