Nearly 30 Cal State San Bernardino affiliates, who were each given a “We Define the Future” T-shirt, participated in the fourth annual Turkey Trot hosted by the city of San Bernardino’s Community Emergency Response Team. The event, which took place on Thanksgiving morning, featured a variety of routes, including a 10K, 5K, Family-Fun Run, and Kiddy Walk. “A big thanks to Jake Orta (legislative assistant in the CSUSB Office of Government and Community Relations) who organized the university’s involvement and who ran the 5K himself,” said Pamela Langford, director for executive affairs in the Office of Government and Community Relations. “As always, thanks to President Morales for underwriting the registration costs for members of the CSUSB family. We had a great – and growing! – presence.” Visit the the San Bernardino Turkey Trot website to learn more about the event.
