CSUSB professor participates in discussion about including assaults against homeless in state hate crime lawsKPCCNov. 29, 2018 Brian Levin, professor of criminal justice and director of the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism at California State University, San Bernardino and board member of The National Coalition for the Homeless, was part of a panel on Air Talk that discussed a Los Angeles City Council resolution that supports any legislation protecting the homeless under California’s hate crime laws. LA City Council voted to support expanding hate crime protection to the homeless. Listen to the panel discussion at “LA City Council voted to support expanding hate crime protection to the homeless.”
