Cal State San Bernardino administrators and alumni attended the third annual CSU Alumni Reception in Washington, D.C., on March 26, for an evening of networking, hors d’oeuvres, and the opportunity to see guest speaker Barbara Starr, alumna of Cal State Northridge and Pentagon correspondent at CNN. The gathering took place the night before the annual CSU Hill Day, when representatives from the California State University, including CSUSB President Tomás D. Morales and CSU Chancellor Timothy White, meet with federal lawmakers to advance the university’s priority legislation. Attending the CSU Alumni Reception were Morales; Robert Nava, vice president of University Advancement; Tony Coulson, professor of information and decision sciences; Pamela Langford, assistant vice president for alumni, government and community relations; and Crystal Wymer-Lucero, director of Alumni Relations. White, numerous CSU alumni, and several campus presidents were also in attendance at the reception.
